Everyone is courteous and friendly in my experience. Most importantly the doctors take time with you to listen to what exactly is troubling you as well as how it is effecting your life. I have rarely experienced this in doctors. Added bonus is that I rarely if ever have had to wait past my appointment time.  If you work you can actually plan to be back at work if you go early.

What are Facet Injections?

Facet joints are the small joints of the spine that give stability and help steer motion. Due to injury or disease, these joints can become painful. Facet injections involve injecting a small amount of steroid medication and/or a numbing agent to anesthetize the facet joints and block the pain.

Benefits of Facet Injections

Since there are many causes of neck and back pain, it is important to obtain a proper diagnosis in order to experience the benefits of facet joint injections. If you are living with chronic pain in your facet joint, then facet joint injections can offer both a quick solution and long-term solution to pain.

Conditions Treated

Facet pain may develop when the cartilage in a facet joint is worn down as a result of aging, injury or wear and tear. This type of spinal damage can be attributed to arthritis, work, overuse or an injury sustained in an accident. Conditions typically treated with facet injections are:

  • Facet arthritis
  • Facet joint syndrome
  • Facet disease
  • Facet hypertrophy
  • Degenerative facet joints
