Regenerative Medicine

What is Regenerative Medicine?

Regenerative medicine is using a combination of growth factors and/or regenerative cells to help modulate inflammation and help provide your own body a more suitable environment to promote healing. Many of these cells and growth factors have been shown to support repair or growth/regeneration of bone, cartilage, muscle, marrow, tendons, ligaments and connective tissue.

Who is a Candidate for Regenerative Medicine Treatment Options?

During a new patient consultation, our physician will be able to tell you if you are a good candidate for any of the regenerative medicine treatment options we provide. These treatment options can range from PRP (platelet rich plasma), amniotic allograft products, concentrated bone marrow aspirate, concentrated adipose tissue, and chorionic regenerative cell products. You may consider regenerative medicine treatments as an option if you have tried and failed conservative treatment options such as anti-inflammatory medications, physical therapy, bracing, and steroid injections (or reached the limit of steroid injections allowed).
